With updated interiors and design touches that beautifully blend together in this tastefully restored country house, situated between buildings and agricultural fields, in a picturesque landscape just 5 minutes by car from the historic town of Ponte de Lima and only 2 km walking from the historic centre of Ponte de Lima.
The five rooms were designed to reproduce the calm environment of an elegant hotel, with elegant furniture, private bathrooms and soft colour schemes that exude style, elegance and a welcoming sense of comfort. In the spacious living areas, equally elegant pieces stand out in an enchanting setting of large windows overlooking a beautiful pool and the surrounding lawn and trees.
Leave the house to the covered terrace that crosses the main facade of the house and you will be surrounded by the lawn and will see the central piece of the well-kept garden: an attractive pool surrounded by granite and a traditional "eira" in aged granite.
Next to it, a wonderfully well-maintained pergola offers the perfect setting for meals by the pool, although those wishing to sample local cuisine need not go far, as the charming village of Ponte de Lima is home to excellent restaurants. It is just 2 km from the house, while the beaches of Costa Verde are a 30-minute drive away. Closer by, a local shop selling basic items can be reached on foot along the Portuguese cobblestone streets, the Cozinha Velha restaurant is 300 metres from the house, the Arcozelo Pizzeria is 400 metres away, and Café Pires is 200 metres away.
